    Finding Your Next Podcast Obsession

    December 10, 2018

Podcasts became my addiction while training for my first long distance races. There is only so much music you can listen to while you run for hours on end! What started as something to listen to while working out became part of my daily routine while walking to class and doing chores at home. View this post on Instagram 6 months and 600 miles later, I finished my second Marine Corps Marathon with a 43 minute PR (4:48:39)!!! Thanks to my dad and @astrobc1 for being the BEST support crew 🌟 who knows what I’ll do next with all that spare time I’ll have 😜 A post shared by Katie…

    October 25, 2018

Happy fall, y’all! As temperatures start to drop (or have already for you cooler-weather gals), it’s a great time to take a long, hard look at your wardrobe. How to Reorganize Your Closet to Feel Like You Have Your Life Together

    October 1, 2018

There’s nothing like the first day of school to make you feel like your life is a mess! If orientation didn’t quite orient you or you’re preparing to show up to every section of art you possibly can because you need it to graduate, the hot mess of first week comes for us all. There’s so much you can’t control about school starting, but this weekend I have faith you can control your closet. Be Marie Kondo The first step is to launch a Marie Kondo-sized attack on your closet. Warn your roommates and your loved ones: things are going to get worse before they get better. Start taking pieces…

Table for One: A Guide to Brunching Alone

    April 19, 2018

This week’s installment of Ro&Co features Samira’s guide to making the most of that sacred weekend morning meal: Brunch!   So you’ve finally worked up the courage to do it alone. Brunch, that is. The one thing where you just HAVE to go with friends and catch up on all the wild (or tame) things you’ve done over the weekend, the one meal it’s actually socially acceptable to be incredibly loud and obnoxious. March 22, 2018

Welcome back to another installation of Ro&Co! This week, Jessie is back and sharing her tips for thrifting to help you prepare your spring wardrobe! Why Thrift? And, it means I’m not dependent on flash fashion for cheap basics. You Don’t have a Size: Let go of that number/letter which tells you which pants/tops…

4 Coffee Shops for Studying in Chicago

    March 8, 2018

Finals week studying have you down? In this week’s installment of Ro&Co, Marianne Dolan shares her top 4 coffee shops to study in around Chicago! Make the most of your reading period and explore the city while you work! Perhaps you’re not a fan of brutalist architecture. Or maybe it’s just demoralizing that you get more social interaction on the first floor of the library during finals week than you’ve had the entire rest of the quarter. Be antisocial yet adventurous with these gems of coffee shops. Peach & Green – South Loop Peach & Green is like the Zendaya of coffee shops. Just as I genuinely wonder if there’s…
